13th Doctor Redux

I don't care what anyone says, I like my ideas for the Thirteenth Doctor and his TARDIS. But admittedly they needed polishing so in a fit of boredom I had another go. Definitely like this better.

Here's my reasoning behind the designs:

The Doctor: After his final regeneration I'd like to think that the Doctor is more careful about taking risks - not that he doesn't, but he's very conscious that this is his last opportunity to help people, and as a result he ends up living to an old age in his last body. (If you subscribe to the expanded canon, that's about 1,000 years, or if not, then eighty-something. Either one works). But of course he's the Doctor, so he's still very exuberant and animated, hence the bright colours. (Also that's a bow-tie design on his T-shirt, something that doesn't exist but should). The diamond monocle is some kind of all-purpose visor/lens/filter thingy, to see various energies and so-on.

The TARDIS: Right, now, this is a bit more of a departure. A human TARDIS you say? Madness! Hear me out. After hundreds of years of having to say goodbye to or losing companions, the Doctor decides that the only way to ease the loss is to have a companion who will be with him for all of his remaining time. So, he upgrades the TARDIS to a later human model using temporal jiggery-pokery. In a way it's his gift to the TARDIS by letting her live a life of her own (she's obviously female, come on). Her personality is distilled from her memories of all the Doctor's companions, plus her own as well. To get "inside", the Doctor can uses a transmat mounted on her wrist, and does the same to get out again.

So there you go! Haters gonna hate and all that. But I quite like 'em.
